Welcome to Metzger Park's National Night Out 2017!
On August 1 from 6 to 8 p.m., the Metzger Park Local Improvement District Advisory Board (MPLAB) will be giving neighborhood crime and drugs a going away party at Metzger Park as part of the national community-building campaign called National Night Out.
There will be emergency personnel displays, local law enforcement meet and greets, fun kids activities, and many ways to connect with other neighbors and local businesses. This is a night for community members throughout Metzger to spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement to build connections and neighborhood unity. National Night Out promotes neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships that will help make our community a safer, more caring place to live. Metzger residents join over 38 million people in over 16 thousand communities from all 50 states in celebrating the importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement. This event is made possible by the efforts and time given by the MPLAB members, along with the support from dozens of local individuals and organizations, including, but not limited to:
